My name is Cory Morrissey, I recently finished a contract
position for a startup called Chupt and am currently looking for
a new position as a software developer.
I am skilled in creating fast and well-designed responsive web
pages, with a passion for clean and detailed code. I’m a fast
learner and passionate about new technology, all while being
easy going and fun to work with.
I graduated from
PDX Code Guild with my Python based web developer certification
in January, 2019.

At Chupt I was contracted to build a web app using React for desktop and mobile food ordering using a REST API as a backend. I worked with the Google Cloud SDK using a CLI to quickly deploy new versions of the webapp, Google Maps API to create a custom skin to match the customers color theme, and Material UI framework to add a cohesive style between pages.

My final project while attending PDX Code Guild. Offers users to login and create custom workouts, saving them for later use on mobile while at the gym.
With this project I used api.magicthegathering.io to pull card data, filter results, and link the images to tcgplayer.com
This is a project used to scrape data from amazon using a library called BeautifulSoup.
Here I used the data from my amazon project (highlighted in the previous link) to create a user inteface in command prompt.
